There are two term of Motivation

Monetary

  • Pay & allowances

  • Regular increment in salary every year and grant of allowance act as good motivators
  • Profit sharing

  • A company set a target profit 10,00,000 . But profit earn 11,00,000, Rs 1,00,000 distribute with employ money is a good motivator for employees
  • Bonus

  • Bonus is a one time extra reward offered to the employees for sharing high performance
  • Commission

  • Commission is the common incentive offered to employees working under sales department
  • Retirement benefits

  • Retirement means offer benefits such as pension provident fund, gravity etc. to motivation people

Non-monetary

  • Money is not the only motivator self actualization need active in them

  • Status refer to rank , authority , responsibility and related to job. By offering High status rank in the organization manage can motivate employ

Democratic or Participative leadership

  • Under this leader ship is a group activity
  • Under this style leader takes decision in consultation and participation with employees

Advantages of Democratic

  • Improves moral of the employees
  • Develops positive attitude

Disadvantage of democratic

  • Time consuming
  • Leader may pass the work to subordinates and abdicate responsibility

Free- rain or lesser faire leadership

  • They delegation of authority decision taking with sub-ordinate

Advantage of free-rain

  • Positive effect on employ
  • Maximum scoop for development of subordinate
  • Full utilization of potential and capacity of employees

Disadvantage of free-rain

  • Subordinates do not get guidance of leader
