The city is known as an industrial city-

•   Here work goes on day and night, from the construction site to the industrial area.  Due to gradual change in the weather, the temperature is falling in the morning and evening.  In such a situation, the problem of smog will increase after a few days.  The main reason for this is the construction material lying in the open at various places and the dust accumulated on the roadside.  There are heaps of debris in the city from excavation and construction done for laying cables and sewer lines, which will cause pollution.  However, the Pollution Control Department is claiming to put a stop to the increasing pollution in the coming days.

Officials became careless

•   According to the order of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), there should be adequate arrangements to prevent pollution at construction sites.  Construction material is lying in the open at many places.  The officials remain careless.  They are polluting the climate.  This is affecting people’s health.  If pollution increases in the coming days, the city residents will have to bear the brunt of it.  Apart from children, elderly people, women, respiratory patients will face the most problems.

Construction material is lying in the open at these places

•    Due to construction work at many places in Sector-50, Sector-52, Sector-57, Sector-74, Sector-75, Sector-76, Sector-78, Sector-79, construction material is kept in the open on the roadside.  ,  Since water is not sprayed on the construction material, it blows away with the wind.  Dust also arises when four wheelers pass.  Flying dust has become a cause of trouble for the people.  Besides, it is also playing a helpful role in increasing the amount of pollution.   But, due to lack of regular water sprinkling, dust flies.
